ABOUT PETER MICKELSEN

Peter Mickelsen is a young American filmmaker working in Southern California. Originally from Canada, his work embodies a soft spoken nature coupled with a strong work ethic not common today. He got his start in film and commercial production in San Diego over a decade ago. He has worked on productions ranging from local commercials to large feature films, documentaries, and reality tv. Peter has been the director of photography on over a dozen short films, features films, several local commercials, and a handful of web series; most notably a web series based on the wizarding world of Harry Potter. He shares his life with Deepti and two cats

Peter is also the owner and operator of Bad Cat Films, a family-run production company based in Los Angeles. Bad Cat Films specializes in cameras, camera rigging, and post color services with the current inventory of a RED Raven and an Epic-W.
